Gond Katira conditioner (HAIR, FACE)
Gond Katira, also known as Tragacanth gum, is a dry exudate obtained from plants of the genus Astragalus. It is used as a cosmetic raw material to thicken or gel.
HAIR: Makes hair stronger, shiny and voluminous. It is a real substitute for conditioner and hair creams, it makes them soft and silky. Repairs cuticular damage, which is why it is useful for brittle hair that breaks easily, but also for dry and unruly hair.
SKIN: It has an antiseptic and emollient action, recommended for particularly dry skin, which needs hydration. Useful on sunburns and chaps. As a face mask it can be used mixed with Clays or Herbs. The shutter speed is 10-15 minutes. Do not let the mask dry, but keep it moist by dispensing water or aromatic waters onto the skin.
HOW TO USE: immerse the powder in water (the proportion is about 5 g of powder per 75 ml of water) and leave it overnight, you will get a gel-like consistency. Blend to obtain a cream, which will be easier to use. Apply to clean and wet hair, using a comb, starting from the roots and up to the ends, and cover with plastic wrap. The shutter speed varies from 15 to 60 minutes, until the hair is hardened. Rinse without shampoo.
It can also be used as a definition product, before drying, in this case apply a little product with your fingers, without rinsing.
Gond Katira is an excellent base for preparing the herbal compress, including dye, so it can replace the water in the preparation, or it can be added at will to the herbal and clay packs. The gel can be stored for ten days in the refrigerator, in a closed jar, or it can be frozen.
